• Find an appropriately challenging book to read over Christmas break (for AR). NO Diary of a Wimpy Kid. 
• Make sure your journal is up to date. 

7th:

• Remember to bring your secret santa gift
• Study for your Christmas Carol Quiz! (Reread and look for challenging vocabulary words.)

 Please note for 7th grads the jigsaw article can be found on Google Classroom under "A Christmas Carol Jigsaw."

7th grade has a vocabulary test on Monday. 

8th grade students may NOT take an AR test on The Speckled Band or anything read in class (books read with Ms. Tarr or Ms. Caraza on Wednesdays, i.e. The Tell Tale Heart or Rue Morgue, are ok).

• AR tests must be taken on December 16th for all grades.

• Students received a Class Dojo invite: we are not doing Class Dojo. Just go ahead and throw that away. Communications on the blog will be more frequent. :)

• Bring interview and follow up questions

• 10x each (5x if student earned 100% on last spelling test). 
• 8th:

• Reread "Speckled Band" to study for tomorrow's test
